Mikaela Shiffrin, who has the most victories in the history of the Alpine Skiing World Cup, fell during the descent from Cortina d’Ampezzo. The American injured her left leg and was picked up by a helicopter, reports L’Equipe.

Shiffrin fell about 20 seconds into the race and ended up in the nets. The athlete got up after a few minutes, but avoided leaning on her left leg.

Mikaela, who was #1 in the World Cup, was taken out by helicopter.

Petra Vlhova of Slovakia, who is in 2nd place overall, suffered a ruptured cruciate ligament in her right knee after fell on Yasny, a week ago.
