Erling Haaland has not played for Manchester City since early December 2023, but Pep Guardiola has announced that he will soon rely on his goalscorer.
Erling Haaland will also miss the match against Radu Dragushin’s team
Erling Haaland’s last match for Manchester City was on December 6, 2023, in a 1-0 defeat by the English champions at Aston Villa.
The Norwegian forward suffered a minor leg injury and the scorer has been unavailable since then.
City will play Radu Dragushyn’s side Tottenham in the FA Cup on January 26, and Pep Guardiola has announced that he will not be able to rely on Haaland in that match either.
“He’s coming back, he’s not ready for Friday, but he’s close. It is not fully restored and we will have to wait a little longer.” – said Pep Guardiola, reports Mundo Deportivo.
So there’s a good chance Haaland will be in City’s squad for the Championship clash with Burnley.
