
Joan Nadal Vives, cousin of Rafael Nadal, earned his first ATP ranking point after defeating Andrew Fenty at the ITF M15 tournament in Manacor.

Juan Nadal Vives, son of Toni Nadal, the first point in the ATP ranking
The 19-year-old son of Toni Nadal (Rafa’s uncle and former coach) reached the main draw after being awarded a wildcard and emphatically defeated the American, who is ranked 1,050 in the ATP rankings, 6-3, 6-1.
The Manacor competition is held at the Rafael Nadal Academy, and in the next round Joan will meet the Ukrainian Heorhiy Kravchenko (640 ATP).

- Juan Nadal Vives participated in the tournament in Courtesy of Arges last year, but was eliminated in the first round.
- Rafael Nadal is on the list of players registered for the Qatar Open (ATP Doha). The great Iberian champion returned after a year’s absence but was injured again in Brisbane.
There is another Nadal in the ATP rankings. Joan Nadal Vives (2004), cousin of Rafa and son of Tio Toni, added his first point in the M15 Manacor: 6-3 6-1 Andrew Fenty (1050°).
