Enes Sali did not feature in FC Dallas’ 1-0 friendly win over Inter Miami, but the 17-year-old managed to pose for a photo with Lionel Messi at the end of the match at the Cotton Bowl Stadium.

In front of 92,100 spectators, Dallas won thanks to a goal by Jesus Ferreira (‘3).

Inter Miami featured Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba, former Barcelona players.

After the match, Enes Sali (footballer transferred by FC Dallas from Farul Constanta for €2.78 million) posted a picture of himself with Lionel Messi and a goat emoticon (GOAT in English is the best of all time).

Born in Toronto, the 17-year-old has dual Romanian-Canadian citizenship and spent a season in FC Barcelona’s academy.

Sali is the second player from Constanta to move to the US, following Alexandru Matsan in 2021 to the Columbus Crew (who became the champion of MLS).
