Oleksandr Zverev defeated Cameron Norrie in five sets

The sixth seed in Melbourne, Zverev won his seventh in eight matches this year with a score of 7-5, 3-6, 6-3, 4-6, 7-6(3).

Sasha committed far fewer unforced errors than his opponent (41-63) and served very well in important moments (15 aces, won 76% of points played on the first serve).

The German, a semi-finalist at the 2020 Australian Open, will face the winner of the match between Carlos Alcaraz (2nd seed) and Miomir Kecsmanovic (60 ATP) in the next round.
