O’Sullivan had a nightmare start to the finals, with Trump leading 4-0 at one point.
Step by step, Ronnie solved many problems in his game on the move: he conceded less, had great defensive shots and was able to get back on the court.
From 0-4 down, O’Sullivan made it 3-6, and then the so-called “Rachete” won four frames in a row to take the lead for the first time in the final (7-6). .
The end of the match brought Trump some serious misses (one of them right on the black ball: if he had hit it, he would have won the frame and moved closer to 7-8), and O’Sullivan knew how to take advantage and win 10-7 (played by the system is the best of 19 frames, i.e. the first to ten).
