Andriy Rublev and Alex De Minaur put on a real show in the 1/8 finals of the Australian Open 2024, and the Russian broke through in the deciding set, managing to pull away from an opponent who was giving him big problems.

With the score 3-0, making his second break in the fifth set, Rublev gave the reaction of the day at the competition in Melbourne.

The Russian won with the score 6-4, (5)6-7, (4)6-7, 6-3, 6-0, and for a place in the quarters he has a match with the Italian Yannick Sinner (favorite 4), who passed Karen Khachanova (15), score 6-4, 7-5, 6-3.
