The Romanian won the match in 6 sets (10-12, 11-4, 11-6, 5-11, 15-13 and 11-9).
Eliza Samara will play against France’s Jia Nan Yuan in the quarterfinals. She won the match against Xialang Ni (Netherlands) 4-2 (6-11, 11-4, 11-9, 8-11, 11-8, 11-1).
If she gets past Jia Nan Yuan and Bernadette Shox wins the quarter against Natalia Bayor, we will have a 100% Romanian semi-final between Shox and Samara.
