CSM Bucharest missed out on a chance to climb to third place in Group A of the Champions League Women’s Handball following a 24-21 defeat to the French women at Brest Bretagne.

Brest Bretagne – CSM Bucharest 24-21 (13-10) in Women’s Handball Champions League

CSM Bucharest made a great start to the game in France, scoring three quick goals and controlling the first quarter of an hour.

Brest tied the game, and before the break it already had a three-goal advantage.

In the second half, the French women maintained their advantage, and in the end they won with a score of 24-21.

Without Krina Pintja and Andrea Ailinkai, the main scorers for CSM Bucharest were Arntzen with five goals, Nyagu and Nikolic – four each.

In the next round, Adrian Vasile’s wards will meet the last class of “Savehof” at home in a week.
