Ronnie O’Sullivan defeated Ding Junhu at The Masters

Ronnie led 4-0, but Dean closed to within a point after even making the maximum break (147 points) in the seventh frame. The Rocket eventually managed to close out the game by winning the next few frames.

It is Dean Junhui’s seventh career high after the Masters (2007), UK Championship (2008), Players Tour Championship (2011 and 2012), Players Tour Championship Final (2013) and Welsh Open (2016).

The Chinese became the first player in history to make two breaks of 147 points at The Masters (since 2007), but he exited the competition in the round of 16.

O’Sullivan, on the other hand, will face the winner of Neil Robertson (7th in the world) and Barry Hawkins (15th) in the quarters.
