Manchester City lifted their first Club World Cup trophy after beating Brazil’s Fluminense 4-0 in the final in Jeddah.

Manchester City – Fluminense 4-0, in the final of the Club World Cup

The match at the King Abdullah Sport City in Saudi Arabia got off to a flying start with the British opening the scoring from the first minute through Julián Alvarez.

Nino’s own goal doubled City’s lead in the 27th minute and Foden made it 3-0 in the 72nd minute.

The end brought further success from Julián Alvarez in the 88th minute and the Pep Guardiola-coached form cruised to their first Champions League trophy.

In the minor final, the Egyptians from Al-Ahly defeated the Japanese team “Urava” with a score of 4:2.
