Damak, coached by Cosmin Kontra, won an emphatic 3-0 victory over Al Tay, coached by Laurentiu Regekampf, in the match of the 18th stage of the Saudi Arabian First League.

Damac, clear victory in the dispute with Laurentiu Regekampf

Cosmin Kontra brought on Nicolae Stanciu from the first minute of the match between Damac and Al Tay, the team coached by Laurentiu Regekampf.

With Andrii Cordea in the starting 11, Al Tai got a goal in the 57th minute of the game, after Chafai’s phase ended.

Abdelkader Bedrane increased his team’s lead in the 85th minute after receiving a pass from Stanciu.

The Romanian international also scored for his side in the 11th minute of added time with a superb strike to set up the final score of the match.

The win saw Damak move up to 5th in the Saudi Premier League with 30 points, ahead of Karim Benzema’s Al Ittihad.

On the other hand, Al-Tay, the group coached by Laurentiu Regekampf, is 13th in the championship with 17 points from 18 stages.
