Atletico opened the scoring with Griezmann (’44) and led at halftime, but Getafe equalized with Mayoral (’53).
Madrid scored two more goals through Morata (’63) and Griezmann (’69, penalty) but they could not hold on until the end and the visitors grabbed a point in the final minutes after goals through Rodriguez (’87) and Mayoral (’90+3 , penalty).
Getafe tried to go home with all three points, but failed to score again until the 90+12th minute when referee Jose Luis Munuera Montero blew the whistle to end the game.
