Donnie van de Beek will be loaned to Eintracht Frankfurt.

Although his career should have taken off with a move to Manchester United, Donnie van de Beek is a shadow of the footballer who played in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals with Ajax Amsterdam in the 2018/2019 season.

The Old Trafford outfit paid a fee of €39 million in the summer of 2020, but a timid development, as well as a serious injury, have led him to a point where a starting position cannot be guaranteed to him.

That was the decision of United’s managers, who accepted the offer from Eintracht and sent the Dutchman on loan to the Bundesliga club until the end of this season.

In addition, if the Germans are satisfied with his performance, they will be able to activate the final purchase clause, worth 15 million euros with bonuses, reports journalist Fabrizio Romano.

With a market capitalization of €10m, the 26-year-old has made 62 appearances, scoring two goals and providing two assists since joining United.

Van de Beek was also on loan at Everton from January 2022 to May 2022, but only played 7 matches for the “Candies”.
