
The hosts of the tournament and one of the main favorites, Denmark, managed to make it to the semifinals of the Women’s World Handball Championship after defeating the Montenegrin national team.

At the end of the game with two different halves, Denmark beat Montenegro 26-24 (13-10).
Despite the Danes dominating the first half, Montenegro managed to take the lead twice, but at the end of the 30 minutes the hosts were three goals ahead.
In the second half, the difference increased to seven goals, but towards the end, the former rivals of the tricolors slowed down, and the Montenegrins came close to only two successes, but not enough to change the fate of the match.
After France, Norway and Sweden, Denmark are the fourth team to qualify for the penultimate act of the competition.
