Rapid will prepare for the second part of the season in Turkey

The Rapid are going through their worst spell since the arrival of Cristiano Bergodi, without a win since early November after a remarkable 12-game run.

Giulesti missed out on a goal by crashing out of the Romanian Cup, while the 1-3 ranking also looks under threat after recent games.

After the shareholders said that the team needs to strengthen with 2-3 important players during the winter, the training camp was officially announced on Monday during the Super League break period.

The team coached by Cristiano Bergodi will train from January 3 to 13 in Belek, Antalya (Turkey), a favorite destination for Romanian teams in recent years.

Sapunaru and his teammates will also play three friendlies on January 6, 9 and 12, with opponents to be announced later.

The Super League will resume on January 20, the 21st stage of the regular season.
