Patrick Dina replaced David Popovici, along with Andrii Angel, Daniel NikuĊĦan and Denis Popescu, Romania finished in sixth place with a time of 1 minute 33 seconds and 89 hundredths.
The gold medal went to Italy, while Great Britain and the Netherlands completed the podium.
In the semifinals of the women’s 200m backstroke, Aysia Prisekariou missed the final action, finishing in seventh place, reports AS.ro.
Tuesday, Romania (David Popovici, George-Alexandru Stoica-Constantin, Mihai Gergeli and Patrick-Sebastian Dinu) takes 7th place in the final of the 4×50 m freestyle relay.
