Christina Nyagu: “Every day I feel better. I want to join”

After injuring his right knee during CSM Bucharest’s Champions League match, Nyagu says he is feeling better and hopes to be ready for the matches against Germany, Poland and Japan.

Cristina confirmed that she was at her last World Cup and wants Romania to qualify for the Olympics in Paris.

“I feel better, every day I feel better. Last time I went into the gym with the team, I had a few shots. I don’t know exactly what my situation is now. I try to do more every day. I need at least a full training session with the team to enter the game.

Very (want to play – no), I have put a lot of effort in the last three weeks to be here, to recover. I want to come in and help the team.

It’s not the happiest situation for me considering I haven’t trained for three weeks… handball I mean. If that’s the case and I can get on the pitch, I’ll give everything to help the team.

When you win your first two World Cup matches, it’s normal to be confident. But we have to understand that we have very difficult matches ahead of us, maybe much more difficult than the first two we played at this World Cup. We have a good atmosphere, the team is fine, we are positive and hope to get as many points as possible in the future.

This is definitely my last World Cup, and if everything goes well and we get to the Olympics, it will be a great success for the national team. It would be great to qualify for the Olympics.

I think the most important thing is to be grounded, take it match by match. Nothing won so far, we are in the main round with two points. There is still a long way to go.

Of course, we want it (qualification for the pre-Olympic tournament – no), we work for it every day, we try to score points in every match, but for now the most important thing is to think about the next match” – Christina Nyaguin an interview for Fanatik.

The Romanian women’s handball team has already qualified for the main groups of the World Cup, and on Tuesday (9:30 p.m.) they will face the first really difficult test after the final tournament: match with Denmark(LiveBLOG on HotNews.ro).
