The Romanian Gymnastics Federation has no money to prepare the national team for the Olympic Games

There are 15 gymnasts in the expanded group, and only five of them will be selected for the Olympics in the coming weeks.

According to romania.europalibera.org, next year the Federation will need two million euros, money that would especially ensure the training abroad of gymnasts who in Romania do not have equipment similar to the one they will compete with in Paris.

The Romanian Gymnastics Federation calls on donors to contribute money so that training takes place in the best conditions.

The president of the federation, Carmencita Constantin, says that the institution currently has no money in its accounts, and the preparation of the last two months was carried out with the funds of sponsors, according to News.ro.

The Romanian Gymnastics Federation does not yet have a budget for next year and does not even know how much money it will receive from the state budget.
