Ding Junhui (17th in the world ranking) managed to pull off a surprise in the second semi-final of the British Snooker Championship, beating the Chinese, 6-4, Judd Trump, the second player in the world hierarchy.

Considered the favorite before the match against Ding, Trump led in two straight sets (2-1 and 3-2) only to see himself defeated by a player in better current form.

Sunday’s grand final pits Ding Junhui against Ronnie O’Sullivan. The match starts at 15:00 (Romanian time) and can be watched live on Eurosport.

The last action will be played according to the system of the best of 19 frames, that is, from the first to the tenth.
