Romania avoided major rivals in the draw for the groups of the final tournament of Euro 2024, and the selector Edi Iordenescu announced what is the goal of the tricolors.

Edi Yordenescu announced the goal of the tricolor team at Euro-2024

After determining the groups of the 2024 European Championship in Germany, the selector Edi Iordenescu gave the first optimistic reaction, in which he also announced the goal of the tricolors.

“Our goal is to go further, to pass this group.

We will continue to work as before, we have our own way, our own chance, and together, with unity and trust, we have shown that we can achieve many beautiful things.

It won’t be easy, whichever team makes it out of the playoffs. This is the European Championship and all teams are valuable here.” – said Edi Iordanescufor the FRF website.

At the final tournament in Germany, Romania was drawn into Group E along with Belgium, Slovakia and the winner of the Group B bracket (Bosnia, Ukraine, Israel or Iceland).
