The leader of the world ranking without emotion passed by someone who had repeatedly criticized him in the past. Ronnie won the first two frames, had a draw, but was unstoppable after that.

The score in the frame was 86-37, 113-0, 0-112, 14-66, 95-0, 82-21, 82-38, 102-19.

It was The Rocket’s 101st British Championship win.

A record seven-time British winner, O’Sullivan will face the winner of the match between Junhui Ding (17) and Judd Trump (2) in the grand final.
