Camilla Herrem left a training camp in Norway because her dog died

Norway coach Thorir Gergeirsson announced on Wednesday that Herrem, 37, had returned home to be closer to family after her husband found the family dog Lykke dead.

“Everyone is healthy. Camilla was in charge of tonight’s press conference but went home to her boys as they lost Likke, the dog who was a dear member of the family last night. She wanted to be around when the boys woke up” – Thorir Gergeirsonreports TV2 Sport.

Camilla’s husband revealed the details of what happened: “It was a shock. At night he fell asleep normally. There was no disease. He limped a little on one leg, but that was not expected. I’m glad she’s here and not in another country. Camilla was very attached to this dog for many years. It’s hard for her. But he will survive it and be ready for the end of the World Cup.”

According to the Norwegian media, Camilla Herrem will return to the national training camp and will be ready for the match against Austria (Friday, 21:30).

A former Minaur Baia Mare player (2014/15), Camilla has three world titles, five European titles and one Olympic title.
