Aleksandru Mitrice, player of the match in Galata
The match between Ocellul Galats and Craiova University was one step away from being postponed.
A lot of snow fell on the playing surface in the last 24 hours, but the organizers, led by coach Dorinel Muntianu, took up the shovels and made the field spotless.
After a 45-minute delay, the match started and Galatasaray opened the scoring in the 20th minute after Alex Pop converted a shot from 11 meters.
Immediately after the break, the Olten team restored the tie through Aleksandra Mitrice (min. 53), who beat goalkeeper Dur Bozoanka with a shot.
The Galatasaray keeper made two more good saves but was left with nothing to do in the 80th minute when Aleksandru Mitrice beat him again.
Mitrice completed his hat-trick 3 minutes later, receiving a great pass in front of the Bank’s goal.
