The Romanian national football team returns to the European Championship after an eight-year absence. The Tricolor finished the qualifying match undefeated and conceded only 5 goals.

The victory over Switzerland (1:0) also confirmed that the tricolors will be in the second prize pool at the draw on December 2.

At the opposite pole, we could be drawn in a slightly more accessible group with opponents such as Slovakia and one of the winners of the play-offs in route C (Georgia, Luxembourg, Greece or Kazakhstan).
