CSA Steaua, a fine of almost 57,000 lei after the match with Rapid

CSA Steaua – Rapid was one of the most spectacular games in the Romanian Cup groups, at least in terms of the show on the lawns.

In addition to many thrown firecrackers and torches, CSA supporters also behaved inappropriately towards the riders, addressing them with insults and offensive expressions.

The disciplinary commission of the FRF did not consider the incidents from that match and fined the Army Sports Club in the amount of 56,952 lei, i.e. approximately 12,000 euros.

The club from Giulesti did not escape sanctions either, with a fine of 7,500 lei.

During the same meeting, the following sanctions were also applied:

15,000 lei fine for CFR Cluj and 5,000 lei fine for U Cluj following incidents caused by fans in the Romanian Cup group match (1-1).
