Possible scenarios

  • If the guests win, Switzerland would mathematically qualify for Euro-2024. It remains to be determined where they will go to the final tournament in Germany: group winners or runners-up. Murat Janic’s team would score 18 points, with only Romania (16 points) and Israel (11 points) competing for the other qualification spot.
  • In the event of a draw, the chances of qualification remain open for all three teams: Romania (16 points), Switzerland (also 16 points) and Israel (12 points).
  • If the Israelis win, the group will be even more complicated. Romania will remain the leader (16 points), Switzerland will remain with 15 points, and Israel will come close with 14 points.
