In 2024, Barbora Krejchikova and Kateryna Sinyakova will no longer play as a team

After first teaming up as teenagers to win three junior titles in 2013, Krejcikova and Siniakova have carried their recent success onto the WTA tour.

They have been a dominant force in the doubles since winning their first major titles at Roland Garros and Wimbledon in 2018 and climbing to the top spot for the first time.

Their 2021 and 2022 seasons, in which they completed a streak of four Grand Slam titles, Olympic gold and the Champions Tour to win each of the sport’s top titles at least once, cemented the team as the most successful active pairing.

In 2023, Krejcikova and Sinyakova stopped their momentum due to injuries. After starting the season on an 11-match winning streak that earned them their seventh major title at the Australian Open and their 15th team title at Indian Wells, both players battled injuries during their clay and grass seasons but rebounded to win their 16th team title in San Diego in September.

In their final matches of the season, Krejcikova and Siniakova defeated Team USA to advance to the semi-finals of the Billie Jean King Cup, but then fell to the Canadian pair in straight sets.
