After another success, Girona is the best team in La Liga. The Spanish top-flight side beat Rayo Vallecano 2-1 away to move clear of Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Girona is 5 points behind Real and 7 points behind Barcelona

Girona continue their fantastic season in La Liga.

Spaniard Michel’s men won away to Rayo Vallecano at the end of a game in which the hosts were leading.

Alvaro Garcia opened the scoring against Rayo just 5 minutes later, but Ukrainian Artem Dovbyk restored Girona’s parity in the 42nd minute.

In the second half, the guests continued to attack, and in the end Savio brought victory to Girona (min. 65).

Andriy Ratsiu was replaced by de Frutos in the 78th minute.
