Zhang Anda won his second consecutive victory over Ronnie O’Sullivan (9-6) and qualified for the final of the International Championship in Tianjin.

Zhang, ranked 37th in the world, led 2-1 and 4-2, but Ronny stormed back to win four straight sets. The Chinese managed several good shots and took advantage of the mistakes of the nicknamed “Rocket” and won the next five frames.

Anda defeated Ronnie O’Sullivan in the round of 16 of the English Open on October 6, 4-2.

In the final, Zhang Anda, known as “Mighty Mouse”, will meet Tom Ford (20th in the world).

The international championship takes place from November 5 to 12 at the Tianjin People’s Stadium and has a total prize fund of £825,000. The biggest break was made by Ryan Day (147). The champion of the last edition (2019) is Judd Trump.

A semi-final appearance is rewarded with £32,000, with the finalist receiving £75,000 and the grand champion £175,000.
