Mark Selby (5th in the world) exited the International Championship in China in the round of 16, the multiple world champion was defeated by Tom Ford.

Ford, ranked 20th in the world, started the match badly, leading 2-0 and 3-1, but had the strength to come back and win 6-3 (he won the last five frames).

In the quarter-finals, Tom Ford will play the winner of the match between Barry Hawkins (13th place) and Thepchaiya Un-Nu (42nd place).

The international championship takes place from November 5 to 12 at the Tianjin People’s Stadium and has a total prize fund of £825,000. The biggest break was made by Ryan Day (147). The champion of the last edition (2019) is Judd Trump.

Quarter-finals are awarded £21,500, semi-finals £32,000, finalist £75,000 and grand champion £175,000.
