Chelsea, big win with Tottenham

“Tottenham Hotspur” and “Chelsea” showed a spectacular match in the last match of the 11th round of the EPL.

Ange Postecoglou’s team, unbeaten this season, opened the scoring after just 6 minutes through Dejan Kulusevski. Son made it 2-0 after 8 minutes, but the South Korean’s goal was disallowed.

Raheem Sterling restored the tie (21 min) but the goal was disallowed for handball. In the 28th minute, Caicedo also scored for Chelsea, but again the goal was disallowed due to offside.

The achieved balance was destabilized in the 33rd minute, when Romero was sent off after a foul in the penalty area, and Cole Palmer restored the tie by converting the penalty (35th minute).

In the second half, the nightmare night for the hosts continued. Udogi saw his second yellow card and left his team with just nine players.

Senegalese Nicolas Jackson put Chelsea ahead in the 75th minute, and 4 minutes later, the hosts were denied another goal due to offside.

The table was closed by the same Nicholas Jackson, who scored two more times (90+4 and 90+8).

The final score was 4-1 in favor of Chelsea, with Mauricio Pochettino’s side picking up 15 points to move up to 10th place.

Instead, Tottenham remains in 2nd place and loses the chance to overtake Manchester City in the standings.
