Carlos Alcaraz has already won two Grand Slam titles, but Boris Becker does not believe the Iberian can match Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer in terms of performance.

Carlos Alcaraz cannot win 20 Grand Slams, says Boris Becker

All members of the BIG 3 have won at least 20 majors, and many prominent voices in the tennis world believe Alcaraz can do the same, but Becker disagrees.

“It’s not fair (can’t be compared with BIG 3 members). You have to let Carlos be Carlos. We have to give him time to develop. So that he does not lose interest in sports, because we need him for a few more years.

It would be delusional to think that Alcaraz can surpass 20 Grand Slam titles. This did not happen before the era of the Big Three, and I am convinced that three players will never again win more than 20 Grand Slam titles at the same time” – Boris Becker.

At the age of 20, Carlos Alcaraz won the US Open 2022 and Wimbledon 2023.

Hierarchy of Grand Slam titles:

1. Novak Djokovic 24

2. Rafael Nadal 22

3. Roger Federer 20 (retired from tennis) etc.
