Inter U19 suffered their first defeat in the current UEFA Youth League draw. Christy Kivu’s side were beaten 3-2 by FC Salzburg to remain winless in Group D.

Inter lost a duel with Salzburg in the UEFA Youth League

After taking first place in the domestic tournament, the youth team “Inter” under 19 did not find a way to victory even in the third stage of the UEFA Youth League groups.

The formation, coached by Christy Kivu, lost at home to FC Salzburg after a match controlled by the Austrians.

In the 26th minute, Adam Dagim opened the score, and before the break, the visitors scored again thanks to Zetena Jano (40th minute).

In the second half, the Austrians were outnumbered after Marcel Moswitzer was sent off, and in the 74th minute, Inter reduced the difference thanks to Gabriele Vedovati.

Entering the field in the 85th minute, Benjamin Atiabu scored 3:1 in the fourth minute of overtime, and the score was closed by Matteo Spinacce (min. 90+6).
