Vladyslav Blanutse can play for the Romanian national team

The 21-year-old forward spent his youth in Slavia Prague and Pescara, and signed a contract with U Craiova 1948 a year ago.

Blenuce, valued at €150,000, made nine appearances and scored three goals for Moldova’s under-21 team.

“Blănuță is eligible to participate in Romania!

Today, FIFA approved the file submitted by the FRF at the initiative of our club, regarding the opportunity to represent the Romanian national team at the youth and senior levels.

At the same time, Blenuce began to meet the rules set by the Romanian Football Federation in the Super League.

Until today, Blenuce represented the national team of Moldova in the period 2017-2021.

We wish him great success in the future in the Romanian national t-shirt, but also in our t-shirt,” Oltenians announced on social networks.

For his part, the player, who can now take advantage of the U21 rule in the Super League, was happy with the decision.

“I am also happy with FIFA’s decision. I can’t wait to play as an U21 in the Super League and I hope to help the team achieve as much as possible, get in good shape and recover.

That’s what I want, let’s work together. I thought a lot, I also talked to my family, it was not a difficult decision. I hope that Romania will offer me a bright future” – said Volodymyr Blanutse.
