The Romanian national handball team will play its first match in the qualification group of the 2024 European Championship on Wednesday in the Mioveni sports hall.

The Florentine Pera-coached Tricolors welcome the visit of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with Cristina Neagu delivering a motivational message ahead of Wednesday’s match.

“This is the first match of the new EURO qualification. It is somehow clear that we will start from the position of favorites, but we do not underestimate the opponent. We are playing at home, we don’t want to start right, to get a willful victory.
