Kevin Lucassen returned to the Super League – he signed a contract with UTA

With just two wins and four draws in 11 games, UTA are in the play-offs and Mircea Rednik is still waiting for reinforcements.

The latest acquisition of Arad players was striker Kevin Lucassen, who signed a contract with Bucharest Rapid in the summer.

“Forward Kevin Lucassen today signed a contract with our team for the next two seasons.

The 30-year-old Dutch-Ghanaian footballer was born in Eindhoven on July 26, 1993 and started in the youth ranks of BB Amstelveen Hemraas. He also spent his career at AZ Alkmaar, Slovan Liberec, St. Petersburg. Pelten, Almere City, Kayserispor, as well as in the Romanian Super League, Poli Iasi, Farul Constanta, formerly Viitorul, Sepsi and Rapid Bucharest. With the team from Sfantu Gheorghe, he won the Romanian Cup in the 2020/2021 season.

He played a total of 82 matches in the first league of Romania, scored 22 goals and provided 6 decisive assists.

Even Rapid will visit UTA in the 13th round of the Super League.
