Iga Sviatek won her 16th career title after defeating Lyudmila Samsonova in the WTA 1000 final in Beijing on Sunday.

The second seed at the start of the competition in China, Sviatek needed just 69 minutes to defeat the WTA No. 22 Russian 6-2, 6-2.

Iga finished the first set with 0 unforced errors. The Pole won 23 out of 27 points played on the first serve and used 6 double faults of her opponent.
