FC Cluj University has agreed with the Dutch striker Elvis Manu. The 30-year-old player came to “U” from the Bulgarian “Botev” (Bulgaria), for which he played in two matches this season.

Our new forward’s CV includes clubs such as Feyenoord Rotterdam, FC Groningen, Excelsior Rotterdam, Wisla Krakow, Huddersfield, Brighton, Genchlerbirligi Ankara, Akhisarspor and Ludorogets.

Brought up in the youth team of Feyenoord Rotterdam, the Dutch striker played 71 matches in the Eredivisie (15 goals, 8 assists), 52 in the first league of Turkey (11 goals, 5 assists), 50 in the first league of Bulgaria (15 goals, 11 assists), as well as 15 games in the championship.

Elvis Manu won the Bulgarian league title in the 2020/2021 season with Ludogorets. The player’s track record also includes the Bulgarian Super Cup with Ludogorets (season 2021/2022) and the Turkish Super Cup with Akhisarspor (season 2018/2019).

Between 2013 and 2022, our new forward spent five seasons in the Europa League for Feyenoord, Akhisarspor and Ludogorets (a total of 21 games, 8 goals and one assist).
