Barcelona have secured the services of Lamine Yamal until 2026

An indispensable player for coach Xavi and a starter in Spain’s last game aged just 16, the striker has reached an agreement with the Catalans over his future, according to Marca.

Lamin made his debut last season against Betis, becoming the youngest player in Barcelona’s history at the age of 15 years and 9 months.

He gradually worked his way into the first team and began to break records, being the youngest decisive passer in La Liga or “man of the match” at just 16 years old.

In this start of the season, Lamine Yamal has already played 9 matches in La Liga and the Champions League and provided two decisive assists.

“This is a great pride for me, I am very happy. I dream of playing for the club I love. I want to win many titles with Barcelona,” Yamal said after signing the contract.
