Barcelona have been investigated in previous months, but at a sporting level they have not suffered. UEFA took note of the allegations against the Catalan club and announced in July that the team had been “provisionally admitted” to continental competition.
With the investigation leading to formal charges against Barcelona, UEFA is expected to react again.
