FC Hermannstadt and Sepsi Sfantu Gheorghe played to a 1-1 draw in the first group stage of the Romanian Cup. In a match between teams of the second league, Corwinul won against Chindi with a score of 2:0.

Romanian Cup winner Sepsi Sfantu Gheorghe managed only a draw at Hermannstadt.

Cosmin Matei opened the score against the visitors in the 53rd minute, and in the 65th minute Sibiu equalized thanks to Florin Bejan.

In extra time, after Denis Renta was sent off, Sepsi was ten up.

In the match between the teams of the second league, “Korvinul” won a categorical advantage over “Chindia Tirgovishte”. Coman opened the scoring after just four minutes, and Neasha doubled the home team’s advantage in the 59th minute with a shot from 11 meters.

In the 61st minute, Chindia remained outnumbered after two yellow cards received by Justin Popescu within two minutes.
