The players returned to the training base on the team bus to travel home in their personal cars.

The incident is understood to have happened on Manchester Road, near Carrington.

Rashford’s Rolls Royce is reported to have collided with a lamp post.

Emergency services arrived at the scene, but Rashford did not require medical attention. Also, no one was detained.
