Ana Bohdan beat Jacqueline Christian in the quarterfinals of the WTA tournament in Parma

Ana Bohdan reached the semifinals of the WTA 125 tournament in Parma.

The athlete, who is ranked 71st in the WTA ranking, beat compatriot Jacqueline Christian (107th WTA), according to the results of the match, which took two hours and 27 minutes.

In the penultimate act of the competition, Ana Bohdan will meet with Anna Bondar (105 WTA). Hungary advanced to the quarters of Victoria Tomova (85 WTA) with a score of 7-5, 6-4.

Prior to this match, Ana Bohdan had won her only head-to-head match against Jacqueline Christian in 2012 in the Istanbul quarters with a score of 6-1, 6-3.

The WTA Parma takes place from September 18 to 23 on clay, is part of the WTA 125 category, has a total prize money of $115,000, and the other two tournaments have been won by Coco Gauf (2021) and Mayar Sherif (2022).
