Fernando Alonso, a driver with 100,000 active km

At the age of 42, Spaniard Fernando Alonso began his career in 2001 with Minardi, and after a year without a team, moved from 2003-2006 to Renault, with whom he won two world titles in 2005 and 2006 .

He then drove for McLaren (2007), again for Renault (2008-2009), Ferrari (2010-2014) and McLaren (2015-2018) before taking a two-year break from Formula 1.

In 2021, he returned to Alpine (a Renault brand), and from 2023 he defends the colors of Aston Martin, writes Agerpres.

Alonso has started 373 Grands Prix and won 32 races, but he finished just 15 on Sunday in Singapore. He reached 100,000 km on the 16th lap of the race at the Marina Bay circuit.

The Iberian had his worst race of the season, the first without points, due to a five-second penalty, an extended pit stop and a piloting error.
