Botosani remains without success in the Romanian Super League

FC Botosani still have to wait until they celebrate their first success in the current championship.

Dan Alexa’s side drew 2-2 at home to Hermannstadt, ending the match with a numerical advantage.

The hosts managed to open the scoring in the 22nd minute, in a phase where Drole took advantage of a big mistake by Kebuz.

Hermannstadt equalized seven minutes later through Paraskiv, whose goal required a VAR review before being upheld.

The same Parashchev made a double in the 11th minute of overtime of the first half, perfectly hitting with his head.

In the second half, David Gabriel equalized for the Moldovans after another phase in which goalkeeper Kebuz was superficial (min. 53).

Drole was removed in the middle of the game after a hard tackle on Janka, but the score remained the same for the rest of the game.

Mino Sota was also sent off for his second yellow in added time.

With this result, Hermannstadt is in 8th place with 9 points, while Botošanyul is in 16th place with only 4 points.
