Petrolul Ploiesti and Ocellul Galatsi have played 5 consecutive games without defeat in the Romanian Super League.

Dorinel Munteanu’s side approached their Romanian Cup play-off win against FC Bacau in good spirits and came close to opening the scoring in the 15th minute.

Cisotti wasted a shot from 11 meters and the hosts got revenge in the 30th minute when Jair managed to score from Moussa’s pass.

In the second half, the same Zhair made it 2:0 in the 53rd minute, in a few minutes the home team could even make it 3:0, but Giku Grozav hit the post from a free kick.

The visitors reduced the gap through Maciel (60′) who converted from Alex Pope’s cross and Cisotti restored the tie (65′) by beating Zima.

Khancha could once again lead the pro-hovenists to the advantage, but he could not defeat Dur-Bozoank.

The final score is 2-2, and Petrolul remains in 4th place with 13 points. On the other hand, Ocellul is in 11th place and has 7 points.
