“This time, I once again confirm that the city hall supports sports, which can be seen in the events that have taken place in Bucharest so far. 3×3 basketball, the European Polo Championship, L’Etape Romania from the Tour de France are just some of the events that have turned Bucharest into a sports scene.

We are trying to put Bucharest on the map in sports as well as in other areas. We want this competition to grow over time. We are glad that Bucharest is the host of sporting events.

The location on Lia Manoliu, in my opinion, is not suitable (not even for the new multipurpose hall). We have a new General Plan and from the end of the year we will start steps to develop it. In 3-4 years we can have a gym” – Nikuzor Danthe general mayor of Bucharest.
