It will be a match between the multiple Grand Slam champion (Venus – 43 years old) and the former world number two (Paula).

Stefanos Tsitsipas (7 ATP) vs Milos Raonic (339 ATP)

The seventh favorite from New York (Stefanos) and the former 3rd racket of the world (Milos) will meet. The Canadian wants to revive his career at the age of 32 and after a long period when he was absent from the track due to injuries.

Jessica Pegula (3 WTA) vs Camila Giorgi (52 WTA)

The third favorite from the Flushing Meadows complex (Jessica) will face the awkward Camila, a player who can cause problems for any opponent on a good day on hard.

Olena Rybakina (4) against Marta Kostiuk (27 WTA)

The fourth favorite at the US Open and Wimbledon champion in 2022, Olena should not have an easy match against Marta. Ranked 37th in the world, Kostyuk could upset many favorites if he gets a good day.

Hugo Humbert (31 ATP) vs. Matteo Berrettini (36 ATP)

The Frenchman, seeded at number 29 in New York, was unlucky in the draw: he will meet former US Open semi-finalist Berrettini. Of course, the Italian isn’t necessarily in the prime of his career, but he could be a formidable opponent on American hardcourts (he serves hard and has an explosive forehand that can make a difference, especially on fast surfaces).
