Otavio was officially introduced to Al-Nasr

Sadio Mane is the most high-profile name transferred by Al-Nassr this summer, but even his involvement has not yielded results.

The Senegalese joined from Bayern Munich alongside Alex Telles, Fofana and Marcelo Brozovic, but Al-Nassr have lost their first two games in the Saudi Arabian top division.

The owners of the team were not satisfied with such a start to the season, so they transferred Otavio from Porto, the player who became the most expensive in the history of the Saudi club.

According to Transfermarkt, 28-year-old Otavio has a market value of €35 million, but Al-Nassr wanted to pay €60 million for him.

Not only is this the most expensive transfer in the history of Al Nassr, but Otavio is also the most expensive player ever sold by Porto.

The previous record belonged to Eder Militao, who was sold to Real Madrid for no less than 50 million euros.

“Welcome to the best player in the Portuguese league!” – wrote from Al-Nassr.

283 matches, 31 goals and 75 assists – these are the numbers of Otavio in “Porto”.
